The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday appointed Ian Durrant as the Lead Physical Performance Coach - Bangladesh Women. He joins on an initial two-year contract. 

Durrant has extensive work experience with the England Women’s Cricket Team, with which he had over a decade’s involvement as the ECB’s Lead Women's Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Durrant has already arrived in Bangladesh and was looking ahead to his new assignment: 'I’m really excited to be joining the Bangladesh Women’s Team. I’m looking forward to the new challenge and can’t wait to meet everyone. 

'The Women’s Team has a big year ahead, and I can’t wait to get started.'
