Bangladesh's men's cricket team will return to England for a Test match after a gap of 17 years, while the Bangladesh women's team will also tour the country for a white-ball series in 2027.

The schedule was confirmed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Wednesday as part of its international fixtures for the 2027 season.

The Bangladesh men will face England in a one-off Rothesay Test at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The match is scheduled to begin on May 28 and will run until June 1. It will be Bangladesh's first Test on English soil since the 2010 tour.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh women's team will conclude England Women's home summer with a six-match white-ball series comprising three Vitality IT20 Internationals and three Metro Bank One-Day Internationals in September.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould welcomed the return of Bangladesh to England.

"We are excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord's, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010, while also hosting Bangladesh Women in a white-ball series," Gould said in an ECB media release.

The announcement marks another significant overseas assignment for Bangladesh, with both the men's and women's teams set to play international cricket in England during the 2027 season.
