The Bangladesh Premier League Chattogram phase is going to start at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Friday.

 In the opening game of the day, host Chattogram Challengers will take on Fortune Barishal at 2 pm while in the evening game Khulna Tigers will encounter Rangpur Riders at 7 pm and Nagarik TV will televise the encounters live.

 Chattogram who have encountered in just two games of the initial phase and holding the fifth position, bagging a single win, must be desperate for the upgradation of their spot in the points table when they will face four different counterparts at their home ground.

 And to accomplish the success: Chattogram batsmen who are undergoing the severe dearth must step up with a flurry bat to conquer their relentless lacklusterness in the competition.

Alongside the batsmen, their bowling contingent as well would be looking to overcome their fiasco as their toothless bowling attack paved the way for the Sylhet Strikers and Khulna Tigers to seal a thrashing eight and nine wicket win respectively over them during the Dhaka Phase battle.

On the contrary, ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan led Barishal, who also vied in the similar number of ties but holding the third place thanks to the superior run-rate would also be craving for registering cent percent wins to secure the last four comfortably.

 However, they could turn the table in the following battle against Rangpur with their Pakistani and Afghan campaigners Iftikhar Ahmed and Karim Janat standing tall with the tenacious willow.

 And if they can endure their momentum in their approaching games in the port city as well, it wouldn’t be that much hard to achieve their success.

 However, the day’s second and final tie is expected to be an uneven fight as the second topper of the table, also the former titlist Rangpur Riders will face Khulna Tigers who are yet to earn a victory from their two vyings that pushed them to the sixth place out of seven.

 Despite having a few big names as Tamim Iqbal, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Saifuddin, Wahab Riaz Khulna failed to prove their worth wholly.

 Still, the fans from the country would be watching the side due to their Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Azam Khan, thanks to his herculean 58-ball 109 against Chattogram, the first hundred in this version of BPL.
