Hobart Hurricanes opens the door for Tim Paine

Hobart Hurricanes opens the door for former Australia Captain Tim paine for Big Bash League on this summer.

It was revealed earlier this month, the 37-year-old Paine started his training with Tasmania team and want to comeback in domestic cricket which begins in October.

Hurricanes coach Jeff Vaughan confirmed that, Tim Paine will play for Hobart Hurricanes on this summer.

“He's two weeks back into his training schedule again [and has] been really good in the nets,” Vaughan said on Tuesday.

Paine quit his position as Test skipper and stepped away from cricket from last year’s Ashes series against England when it was revealed he sent sensual messages to a female cricketer on 2007.

Hurricanes started their BBL season on December 16 against Melbourne stars. Besides Paine, Matthew Wade and Ben McDermott will be playing for Hurricanes. Former Australia and Tasmania captain Ricky ponting, who is working as strategy head of Hurricanes.

Besides those three cricket Hurricanes signed Billy Stanlke, previously who played for Melbourne Stars. He doesn’t played any competitive match since May last year.
